What genres do you write?
Humour, literary, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, political.

What are you currently writing? Sum it up in 10 words or less.
My novel which will be published by Drollerie Press very soon--Middlewitch Mayhem.
"A young witch fights demons, the Women’s Institute and pregnancy..."

What do you do when you're not writing?
Go for long walks in the English Lake District where I live--with three cats, three dogs, and a husband.

What is your ultimate goal as a writer?
To finish and publish a very different novel I started a while ago--exploring the issues of freedom and tolerance.

How close are you to achieving this goal?
I’ve written about a third but hope to get back to it very soon. I don’t know when it will be published - but will keep sending it out and live in hope!

What is the single most important piece of advice you can give a fellow writer?
Try writing different genres. You may find one you really want to concentrate on--or you might decide you prefer variety. I never considered humour when I first started writing--but have probably sold most stories in this genre. I still enjoy writing seriously about the issues I really care about, but satire is fun! And politicians and bank managers make wonderful targets...
