What genres do you write?
Fiction, non-fiction, plays, cinema scripts.

What are you currently writing? Sum it up in 10 words or less.
A non-fiction book about Nepalis in Burma and Thailand.

What do you do when you're not writing?
I like to take long walks, explore, read old and new books, watch films, take photographs, think about the way the world is heading and how we could do better, chat with friends, meditate, travel.

What is your ultimate goal as a writer?
To write better and more thought-provoking books with each passing year.

How close are you to achieving this goal?
Not sure--I'm trying. Sometimes things loop back into a regressive mode--it's not always a linear progression. ;-)

What is the single most important piece of advice you can give a fellow writer?
Keep writing.
